Friends, today is the last Daily Covid-2019 Monitor, because so many jurisdictions are no longer providing robust data. The first edition was exactly three years ago, when global cases were less than half what they are today. Yet at today's much higher case numbers, the world seems to have nevertheless stopped caring about a disease that, three years ago, was seen as a deadly global threat.
