Covid-2019 - 2020-12-09
Date:
Thursday, December 10, 2020
Summary:
US fatalities make new highs, but cases don't. This is the inevitable result of the time lag between infections, which increased sharply over the prior weeks, and death. Fatalities are a more certain indicator of the presence of the virus in a population, but cases -- while less reliable -- are at least a leading indicator, not a lagging one.
