Summary:
The good news is a shocking upside surprise for retail sales for March -- when World War Three was supposed to cause an instant recession. To be sure, gasoline sales at higher prices played a role, but doesn't explain it away. The bad news is that at the same time our supply chain stress indices are moving up -- but not to dangerous levels yet.
