US PCE Inflation - 2026-03-12

In this morning's PCE report, we're just looking at January finally (February CPI is already known). It's a bad month for the Fed's preferred benchmark. The only thing that's decelerating is housing -- finally. The problem is, while that component is heavily weighted in PCE, is much less so than in CPI. So the one thing that is working gets relatively downplayed.
