Headline beats nicely thanks to energy. The major contributors to inflation are surprising -- OER and rent of primary residence are not the worst culprits (they are second and third). The worst is airline fares, with internet services and computers coming in at fourth and fifth worst. Deflationary items were surprising, too, with former inflationary offenders all making the top five: used cars, medical insurance, car insurance, eggs and uncooked beef. "Affordability" isn't conquered here, but it's something of a down-payment.
