In Xinjiang, an apartment fire killed 10 (including 3 children) because firefighters were held back by Covid restrictions. In September, a bus in the same region crashed on the way to a quarantine center killing 27. That's a total of 37 dead -- the number of people who died of Covid nationwide in China over the last 144 days.
